Norodien returned with hunger, says Palacios

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates interim coach Augusto Palacios has explained that Riyaad Norodien's late heroics in the 2-2 draw with Cape Town City came after he was given time off in the previous week.
The 21-year-old fired in a stunning late strike to secure a late draw for the Sea Robbers against the Citizens last Saturday.

The draw ensured that Buccaneers did not lose their third Absa Premiership match in a row.
"Norodien's mother is sick and we gave him time off to come see her last week and he came back a different player with hunger, it showed," Palacios told reporters.

The Mayfair-based outfit next face Polokwane City in a league clash on Saturday, February 25.
Kick off is at 15:30.

A new coach is set to be in charge as the club confirmed Palacios' replacement would be named on Monday ahead of the City clash.
